Backdoor Bandits stormed back from an early hole to beat the Nic Allens 12-10 in a frenetic playoff game at Hockey Etcetera - Saputo. The loss snaps Nic Allens' dominant regular-season run (10-1-1) while Backdoor Bandits (8-4) advanced on a night when offense trumped defense.

The first period was an onslaught. Nic Allens erupted for eight goals — early strikes from Teagan Brodeur, two from Adam Clark, a pair from James Fitzpatrick, and tallies by Lucas Arsenault and Hendrik McNulty — but the Backdoor Bandits answered with four of their own as Lukas Royko, Harry Grubs (twice), and Mario Lapenna kept them within reach, leaving the score 8-4 after 20 minutes.

Momentum flipped in the second. Lukas Royko and Harry Grubs continued to drive the comeback, Tristan Gravenor added his 14th of the season, and Mario Lapenna struck twice late in the period as the Backdoor Bandits outscored the home side 5-1 to knot the game 9-9 heading to the third.

In the third, Devyn Sandler opened the scoring for the visitors and Lukas Royko completed his hat trick; Jeremy Clark provided a lone reply for Nic Allens, but Tristan Gravenor iced it with a late insurance goal to seal the 12-10 result. Myles Boudreau surrendered 12 goals in defeat.

Lukas Royko and Harry Grubs paced the visitors with massive nights, while Mario Lapenna's late scoring proved decisive. With the victory the Backdoor Bandits now hold the edge in the season series and carry heavy momentum deeper into the playoffs.
